Thought you would like an update on Benji now that he is five months old. He is an absolutely delightful puppy, full of fun and energy. He is very intelligent and has learned so much already. It didn’t take him long to learn to climb my stairs up and down (2-3 days), walk on a lead within 3 weeks, to sit when instructed and most of the time to stay there until told he can move, plus other things. However he can also be quite determined and stubborn when he chooses, it’s quite funny to see. The second day here he barked, he got such a shock but since then has certainly found his voice – loud and clear. He loves to play with all his toys but his favourite fun is to fetch his ball and bring it back for another throw – another thing he learned to do quickly. And he loves his cuddles and is very loving.
This week he was professionally groomed for the first time. The groomer said he behaved exceptionally well with no whining or fuss. He looked so beautiful when I collected him. (Photo attached)
He eats well and now weighs 6 kilos. He is booked to be neutered in the middle of November.
I am so happy that he was the one I chose. He has helped me cope with the recent loss of my husband. He’s given me a reason to get out of bed each day. So I would also like to say a big thank you for this beautiful little boy.
